Stress incontinence

Stress incontinence is a common problem amongst women with previous history of childbirth. Mainly causing relaxation of the female pelvis and urethra. The choice of treatment is the placement of a tension free  vaginal tape (TVT), which is a simple, quick, bloodless procedure with excellent aesthetic outcome.

 

Overactive bladder 

Incontinence due to overactive bladder can be treated initially with oral medication or bladder Botulinum toxin injections (Botox).
A permanent solution is the placement of a sacral nerve neuromodulator, which is a minimal invasive procedure with  excellent outcomes.
